On November 4th, 2008, the people of United States America made a history that both shocked and amazed the whole world. Democrat Senator Barack Obama won the Presidential election by a landslide against Republican John McCain. Millions of people were tuning on TV, radio and even in Election headquarters to find out the outcome of the biggest election ever. Many were stunned and cried for joy for the people of the United States proved that color difference is no longer a barrier in this great nation.

I watched that night when Senator McCain gave his very gracious speech and congratulate the new President-Elect and I was very impressed with his graciousness and class in his greeting and his speech that he will continue to be a servant for his country and will support his new President. I also watched the speech given by President-Elect Barack Obama. Both men gave the best speech in both sides.

I am very lucky to witness the History that probably all people in the world will never forget. I am somewhat proud for many people who choose to vote for the person of their choice without judging by their appearances.

The White House will have a new first family and you can tell that they have so much love with each other. I am very eager to wait what will the next President’s new move and how he will handle different issues that has been going on in our country.
