Today was a little busy day for me. I volunteered for a little while in one Elementary school nearby and I really appreciate what teachers do everyday. They have a lot of patience in teaching and helping kid mold their minds and characters. So Kudos to all the teachers in the world!
I was so busy today that I didn’t have any time going to the gym, I heard that the weather will start to go up to 60’s tomorrow and I also heard that there is going to be a sunshine:) Oh how I wish it will come true. I do want to go back walking to the park again during day breaks. I really need to start bringing my own water too or better yet it will be nice if there will be a give away custom water bottles so I can refill it anywhere, instead of me buying bottled water every time. It will save me some money.
Anyway, I have chosen my song of the day. I was in my car on my way to volunteer and I heard the song from the 80’s and it is from Cyndi Lauper, a song called Time after Time and I bet you know the song too! I really like this song and it brings a lot of memories even though I was still in grade school when this song came out! So here it is enjoy!

Garden Show

I have tickets to home and garden show this weekend but I don’t know who to bring with me. My friend gave me a hard time a while ago joking that I am definitely blossoming into a mature woman since instead of shopping somewhere or going somewhere fun, I ended up choosing going to a Home and Garden show. He said that it reminded him of his wife who used to go get her pedicures done and go shopping and clubbing but now, he said the only time his wife shop for something else other than grocery is when she buys stuff for home, kids clothing and even mens ties. He made it sounds so depressing, he should be glad his wife is not shopping out elsewhere expensive or he will definitely be looking for a second job!

I love listening to music! I listen to music almost every minute of every day and I don’t even know if I can start my day with no music at all. I can’t sing, unfortunately I wasn’t blessed with beautiful voice and I can’t even carry a tune but I still love to sing and I love listening to almost all kinds of music from Rock to Orchestra! So since I love music so much I am starting to post my song for the day, I will place a link of videos from youtube or somewhere else but tonight my choice would be the song that I kept listening countless times today and that is Change the World from Eric Clapton.

For the record… If I only could I really would Change the World into a better one:D

Its coming

It’s coming and many are very excited about it! As for me? I am not sure if we are going anywhere but a whole week of resting is fine by me! I will be satisfied with a whole week of worrying nothing but relaxing or maybe doing nothing!

Yesterday I was talking with my aunt and spent my whole 2 hours listening to her whine from about her hardship in life, social security disability benefits, Grey’s Anatomy episode to how much she doesn’t approved of her daughter’s new boyfriend! Seriously I could use a spring break yesterday! I sometimes enjoy our conversation when she is in her good mood but sometimes listening to her whine is just too much! When you try to make her understand or give her a reason to understand she won’t even listen or even try to consider it and you will hear an extra mile of whining but I still love her:D

Spring is almost here and I just can’t wait til summer! But before that there are going to be couple of things to celebrate like dad’s birthday on April and Mother day on May! Speaking of those wonderful days, I have to make sure I as a child will show my appreciation with some thoughtful gifts for dad’s birthday and lovely mother’s day gift. I know it’s still months to go but you have to consider how time flies and imagine it’s the 3rd month of the year 2010 already! It wasn’t long when we were all crazy welcoming the year 2010 and now we are on the 3rd month already with sunshine in the sky. I am looking forward for more sun and less chills and I do hope that it will come soon because I am tired of the cold days!

Nothing much to do this weekend so that is why I have been watching old movies and it kinda is fun and as well as depressing! Even though I have seen a movie that touched me in so many times I still cry like a baby when I watch it again! It is like my heart has spring plungers in it, it does its job reacting what I see in the movies. I don’t know why I react that way even though I have seen the movie how many times, I always get giggly when something sweet happens to the character or I get melodramatic when something sad or happy is happening at the end. I do wish sometimes I don’t cry on movies because everybody picks on me at the end, when they see me as emotional basket-case when it comes to movies. Probably I am just being a girl:D

Warmth in Cold

There’s one thing about me that is a little weird and that is my comfort in cold treats during cold weather. I love eating ice cream, gelato, sundae and shakes even when it’s snowing outside. I don’t know why but ever since when I was a little girl, I find comfort in frosty treats during cold season. The weather prediction for next week is looking very good and I do hope the freezing cold would stop so I can walk around the park again. I really like going out instead of trapping myself inside for how many months. It wouldn’t be so bad if I have something to keep me busy other than knitting needles and a big TV, it would be nice to have a nordictrack incline trainer to get a good work out while staying out of the cold and while watching television. As much as I hate the cold season, I am not looking for the very hot season because of my skin problem. I break out in cold weather and in hot weather! Seriously, I only become normal in spring and fall season when it is not too hot and not too cold. I know it’s confusing and really annoying but this is always has been a dilemma that I have to face each year.

It’s so windy today and so cold that I have been sipping green tea and eating hot noodles for the whole day today! I did watch the whole season 1 of United States of Tara and it is hilarious! Toni Collette is one of the best actress ever lived today! She has multiple personalities and the funniest episode to me was when her parents came to visit and “gimme” came around. I can’t wait for the second season to come on March 22nd and my other favorite show Nurse Jackie will be aired the same day, so I’m in for a treat!

I am looking forward for summer to come but, we know it will be months away so I will settle for the Spring Break to come. I don’t know what we gonna do yet but, I have been searching for Orlando vacation and it would be nice if I can visit Disney World and meet Mickey and of course watch the Magic play live in Amway Arena! I love NBA basketball and I am glad they are the #1 in Southeast Division and if they will stay focus they might be going against Cleveland for the Eastern Conference Championship and then hopefully they will win to go to the Championship against whoever wins in the Western Conference! Go Magics~!

Monday Thoughts

Happy Monday and Happy President’s day to everyone! I got up late today with a big fat headache because of my sinus and it really is ruining my day. Anyway I felt bad for my friend because the company she’s been working for how many years will be closing and that make me really thankful for what I have. I should stop whining about not taking any vacations because as long as I have what I have now and as long as I am doing a good job managing my bills with no big debt everything is alright. I really hope that my friend will be able to get a job somewhere else fast because I don’t like seeing her sad like she is now.

Slow

Winter is almost over and yet, my scarf is not yet done! I need more yarn and I would’ve got some the other day but I was in a hurry to attend to a purse party with my friend. Purse Party like I need another purse to collect! I have about 10 of them and I don’t even use one. I am more of a pocket person but when I see beautiful purse my heart would pound and I have no idea why! I will focus on my scarf and I will go to the craft store tomorrow after I order my skin id and eye shadow. I promised myself that I will not go to any purse party anymore because it is a waste of time and money especially for a person like me who doesn’t carry one~
