Relaxed

I am almost done and I will be able to relax and hopefully sleep like a baby because I have to get up early and cook breakfast for my kids. I think I’m going to make some chocolate chip pancake instead of chocolate croissant in the morning along with scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. I have to stay clear of the delicious ones and just stay with scrambled eggs and one orange so I don’t have to whine about how much carb I eat.

My husband will be going to Colorado after our vacation and I told him to visit the wonderful places like the Garden of the Gods. I should have got him that cool jacket from prana clothing for his birthday . There’s no sweat though coz there’s always Father’s Day and it will be perfect coz then he can start wearing it when he goes to Colorado. I lived in Colorado for a while and you can always use a jacket especially if you go to Boulder or Rye. And of course, our winter here needs a reliable jacket so it will be perfect! Well, now I can go and get some sleep.. goodnight and enjoy the upcoming week^-^.

Summer

My children are going to be so busy practicing their music pieces. Both my sons are having the band/string concerts while my daughter will have her 2nd recital in June. For days we were confused about their scheduled dates but her piano teacher cleared that one for me when I saw her at the grocery store a while ago. I forgot to ask her a couple of things like what can she tell me about Hercules. I also need to bring her next months tuition too and I have to take my son’s violin somewhere for tuning, his teacher told him days ago but he just told me a while ago and I have no idea why. I need to do it before Tuesday so I have to get into it tomorrow morning.

Anyway, my children are excited for our summer vacation. They have been talking what to bring to our trip and they have been guessing where will their grandmother would take us for dinner and a show this time. Last year she took us to Dixie Stampede and we really had a wonderful time. I hope this time we’ll go to that Chinese Acrobat thingy but I will be happy where ever she takes us. I can’t wait too ^-^

Weekend Chore

I love Saturdays mostly because I don’t have to go anywhere and I get a chance to do all my chores too. Yesterday, I had the time to make some desserts and I was able to find a desk for my sewing machine also. I think I acted too reckless in buying the first person who answered my email inquiry, I couldn’t wait to have the others get a chance to answer it. I sometimes act too negligently oh well the one I have now works anyway. I wish I could be as patient as my cousin like when she wanted to buy some diet pills, she gathered lots of information and read reviews like this site that has a myoripped review. I do need to be more patient.

Anyway, talking back to my main topic about chores; today I am tackling into my laundry duty and I usually wait for the same colors to accumulate before I wash them, I know it’s weird but I want to wash all my grays with grays and all my blues with blues!I don’t mix dark colors with different dark colors I always wanted to wash them in the same color name so that’s why sometimes it takes forever for me to finish the laundry coz I don’t just throw in all dark colors in one load. I’m weird that way I guess but I am just here trying to do my laundry duty so enjoy your Saturday ^-^

I have been looking around for a desk just to put both of mine and my daughters sewing machine in her room. There’s a lot of neighborhood garage sale and I couldn’t find any desk at all. I searched online and found couple of nice things and I sent emails to couple of people already but I hate looking at stuff and the only communication is through e-mail, I mean if you’re selling your stuff why not include phone numbers so the possible buyers could contact immediately but I guess they won’t make it easy for you. I just hope that they will answer and hope that one of them still have the desk.

Anyway, Friday Fill-in and here’s mine.

1. Vegetables are best awesome!.
2. Got quite a few mason jars; most are used to keep jalapeno peppers.
3. How wonderful it is to stay at home and do nothing all day..
4. Dead to the World is a book I’d love to recommend.
5. Using leftovers: I like to saute them.
6. My family makes me incredibly happy!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to cook, tomorrow my plans include finishing my laundry and Sunday, I want to just sleep!!

Spring Sprung

It has been a rainy & stormy spring but I prefer this over ferocious winter any day. We finally had our lawn mowed but we couldn’t do anything about our yard not until all this raining and storming will pass. We are planning to have a new fence built also a new patio up front too but we need the sun to shine and the rain to stop pouring for a little while but in the meantime, we are updating our flooring and we are only down to 1 room and that’s what we are doing this afternoon! So hopefully tomorrow it will be over and I don’t have to worry about cleaning carpets for forever!It’ll be a breeze not to worry about that and it’s a little expensive to maintain it. Laminate flooring is a lot better!

Anyway, I had my name registered as a godmother but I will have a proxy to represent me on baptismal day. My friend asked me if I can be her daughter’s godmother but they are miles away and I can’t just leave everything here so a proxy will be provided. I will have to look for personalized baptism gifts for my goddaughter and I will hope to see her in person one day. I only saw pictures and saw her on one of our video chat and ohh how I love to slightly pinch those cute chubby cheeks. I miss celebration like that, eversince I moved here it seems like I am shun in all those wonderful events:(

I am perplexed on what to give to my husband on our anniversary day. I am dumbfounded on how hard it is for me to find a very nice gift or gesture, I mean I always know what to give but I really want something nice that defines this special day amongst the previous anniversaries since this is quite a milestone! I do have some ideas but it requires a little bit of travel time and some preparation including some soothing eucalyptus essential oil and a glass of champagne after the exciting would be unforgettable experience which includes fresh air— I am not going to elaborate but it’s wonderful. But I need to talk to my mother in law to watch the kids for us ( I know she’ll do it ) and I know he has something planned and I don’t want to mess his plan if only he’ll tell me what he’s planning to do * why can’t he tell me!!!) then it’ll be easier for me to plan for my gift for him.. I meant for us. I do need to save some more $$ though to make it more fun!

Looking 4ward

I am looking forward to go on vacation this summer and yes probably I’ll have a solid reason to shop at the carhartt outlet for summer gear ^-^. My children would love to go fishing again but they are opting out about the cabin idea since we had a bad experience the last time we went to stay in the cabin and we all got sick including my in laws! It was a horrible day and I can’t change their minds about that but they would love to go fishing once again and even swim in the lake—> I don’t really like swimming in the lake!~! for many reason and the number 1 would be I don’t like the muddy waters and then there’s the lake placid nightmare.. yes I always think that there’s some crocodile in the lake I don’t care how perfectly managed it is by the state park staff but some idiot might have been dropping baby crocs in there you know! I regretted the day I saw that movie because just like Jaws.. when you get in the water, you can’t help but wonder!.

Here we go again I have these fascination and impulses that I really hope that will last long. I convinced my husband to buy me a sewing machine eventhough I have no clue how to use it! I am really fascinated by it and I want to learn! I checked out the community college if they have a class but I was too late so I have to wait til Summer to join but I went to the local craft store today and one of the ladies told me that they are going to have a beginning sewing class on May and I will definitely join however, my sewing machine will arrive sometime this week so I really hope that all the books I checked out from the library will give me enough insight to learn it on my own. I also bought some fabrics that are so adorable but I will have to restrain myself in using it when I get my sewing machine and wait to make my first real project ones I get all the excitement out of my system and after I try sewing some simple things.
I went crazy today and surfed the web about all the stuff that is girly and I found cute tiny little rose plants that is going to be perfect on my new end tables! I am planning to host a little party sometime in June and I would love to add something wonderful in the house and not too expensive but also an eye-catcher. I hope that all the little renovation will be done by then so I can entertain people in my house ^_^

Grilling Days

We purchased a new grill finally and we have been using it! As a matter of fact, we are going to use it again tomorrow and we are going to have some BBQ Ribs for dinner. We are going to be using the heck out of it as long as the weather is nice and perfect for grilling days. Our favorite accompaniment for garlic fried rice is the Korean BBQ Pork Steak and it’s just delicious and sometimes I hate eating it because when we make it I tend to overeat which is not very good because I am trying to be on a diet and everytime we make this I overindulged! I need to practice moderation with strict discipline.. Ugh the word that I really hate lol.
We have been very busy replacing our flooring all over the house and I like the look on wood in every room! I just like how easy it is to clean and how wonderful it is to look at you know and it’s so much cleaner than carpet! If I can have all wood furniture in my house I will gladly do it especially when seeing the amish dining table oh… great craftsmanship I am telling you. I love wood furniture all over the house; I think it’s because that’s all I grow up with you know. Living with my aunt who has a house made with coconut trees, all the furniture that are handmade by my uncle and all made out of wood, I loved it! I am very fascinated by it and I wish I have the same talent but sadly I don’t and buying all great wood stuff is not very cheap but I have to say worth every penny but maybe one of these days I will have something amish made and I will definitely treasure it by respecting their craftsmanship!

Today is a wonderful day to do a lot of stuff. It’s 54°F but it’s supposed to go up to 70 today so I will have plenty of time doing stuff but first I need to pay attention to house and do some cleaning because it looks like a tornado just passed by and with 3 kids it’s really hard to keep the house the way I want it to be. Granted they all work like robots when I start yelling at them but it just get messy and it’s quite annoying.

Anyway, this summer I am thinking about spending my 10 yr anniversary to the mountain to hike. We could leave our children to my in-laws and it’s just going to be me and my husband hiking and we could stay the night in one of those cool lodging they have in the Smokey Mountains. It’ll be the perfect thing to do this summer ^-^

3. I forgot to buy the ingredients for tonight’s dinner.!
4. The Turtle Cheesecake I made is delicious!
5. Heads, shoulders, knees and TOES.
6. Walking is my favorite form of exercise when it’s warm enough out not to wear a coat!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watch Never Back Down 2:The Beatdown, tomorrow my plans include cheering for son in Archery tournament and Sunday, I want to be lazy all day!!
