I haven’t done anything today other than fixing my computer. I had to clean my computer so I used the recovery disk to reset it to the factory setting. I didn’t add a  lot of stuff but only the important ones. I am happy that my Internet connection is steady after I removed all the junk in my Local Disk (C:) and that gave me a lot of empty space probably why it’s running fast and smoothly.

I still need to do a lot of stuff at home like cleaning my windows. I have these old blinds installed but the sun still bothers me especially if I am watching TV. I need new blinds and also a new set of curtains for my dining room.I also need to go to the improvement store to get some of those window weatherstrips coz I can feel cold air coming from it! I don’t have any $$ saved up for the window replacement yet but I am hoping I will have enough once I get my tax refund. Window replacement is where all that money will be spent.

Welcome to the year 2010! I am very happy that I am able to celebrate the New Year with my whole family safely and  in good health! I am wishing for more blessings to come this year. I am planning to be more active this year and as well as be tidy and mostly, I really want to be nicer this year. Not that I am saying I am mean but I just want to be nicer to everybody not only this year but hopefully for as long as I live.  I also want to do a lot of projects this year and as well as finish some like my kitchen. I need to repaint the wall, put back-splash, install a new kitchen sink and buy a new freezer. I also need to finish my cross-stitch project . It’s been 2 years since I left it in a drawer and I really need to finish it before next Christmas since it’s something about Christmas season. I will encourage myself to do all these thing and hopefully to finish all of these before the end of the year.

One thing I would like is to have my own office space at home. I do like to get online to so my work with privacy and comfort just like a home office. I also would like to have office furniture that is comfortable and affordable that will make my home office a good environment to work.  I am really tired of what I got and my home office is not very inviting nor inspiring. I really need a new desk and chair for mine is about to fall apart.

Taking care of our elderly is not only right but also a noble thing to do. We all live in a society where Nursing Homes and Assisted homes are the places we can ship our aging parents or grandparents but you can also make a choice to serve them and take care of them just like what they did to you when you were younger. Taking care of an elder relative is not hard to do, in fact you can even make your home a safe home for them too along with a good company and love from family. Starting is easier than you think, let’s start with their bed,you can get them one that is not too high for them so they won’t fall , you can even purchase one with bed-rails if needed, also there’s a lot of walk in tubs that you can purchase from different styles and prices. If you are working at different hours you may hire a CNA to watch over your love ones while you were out. Taking care of you aging family might be challenging but is is also rewarding. Give back the love they once showered you, it’s what they need the most at this point of their life.
