Shameless is back and I am loving it though I missed the latest episode but I will make sure that I will be able to watch it this week.
Anyway, I have last Christmas was a blast. Although not all of us got what we had on our list like someone wanted a hydraulic hose and a new LCD TV but it was nevertheless fun! I actually got an ice cream maker which I have been wanting to get myself. My kids are already bombarding me onto making some ice cream already but I had to tell them that they just have to wait until it’s nice outside. I want to make it outside as you know it can be messy and I don’t want to make a mess in my kitchen floor. The kids each got what they wanted and it was wonderful seeing them so very happy. We also got a puppy, a toy poodle and she is a feisty one! She was oh so shy at first but now she’s just a spoiled little doggy but my children adored her also she is sweet just like a little child; kept wanting to be in someone’s company and never wanted to be left alone by herself. She doesn’t even like to sleep on her own bed coz she wants to cuddle with a human being. My children all said that it was the best Christmas ever and I am happy to hear them say it.

It is a chilly weekend and I swear I want to crank the heater up but I just have to warm myself up with full clothing from my head to my toes! It’s too early to turn the heater on plus I’m sure there will be days to come which will be colder than the current temp that I am so whining about. I am happy however that the Super Hot Summer is over, I am happy with the cool weather and the wind and the rain but I really hope that there won’t be any storm coming because I have no wider room as a storm shelter other than one lousy closet downstairs. I really need to find somewhere safer and it would be nice if we can get one of those underground shelter, it’ll give me a peace of mind.
Anyway,today is Saturday and here is my entry for Saturday 9′s Tuesday Afternoon ~~though it’s still Saturday~~!
1. Where will you be and doing this Tuesday afternoon?
* I will probably working but let me enjoy my weekend first okay?
2. Do you belong to any group(s)?
*I used to but not anymore. However, I am belong in my own group called”My family”
3. Do you feel energized or drained by being in a group situation? (If the answer is “it depends,” on what does it depend?)
* When I used to be in a group, I felt both drained and energized.. from both fun things and sometimes drained from negative vibes!
4. Is there a role you naturally put yourself while adapting when in group situations?
*I usually just go with the flow and being neutral.
5. In business or formal situations, do you mind hugs or are you offended if it goes past a handshake?
* I don’t mind hugs as long as they don’t have any foul armpit smell!
6. Do you find what we’d call “ice breakers” a playful way to build community in a lighthearted manner, or a complete and utter hell of forced fun and awkwardness?
*It can be both!
7. What word do you use far too frequently?
*Ugly,Fudge and Whatevs…
8. What word do you use not frequently enough?
* perhaps.

It has been days since I cooked and thankfully tomorrow I might be able to cook my delicious halibut with mango salsa and roasted pepper! I think I will definitely serve it with some seasoned wild rice and sauteed asparagus and pair it with crisp white wine. I have also been craving for some shrimp primavera but I don’t know if I will make my own or just dine in @ the nearest Italian restaurant. I do need to treat myself something since we didn’t go anywhere special on Mother’s day. We don’t usually eat out during the special day because of crazy crowds and long wait so we decided to wait but then our schedule just didn’t allow us to eat somewhere nice so maybe this weekend will definitely the day to make it all up! Oh, it’s Thursday and here’s my entry for this week!!

I don’t think it’s hard to fulfill right? All I have to do is motivate myself to work harder so I can get all these things done before June starts! Enjoy your Thursday!!

Now this band brought great music in one cd their title album that was released on 1993!! As you can see I am a fan of the 90′s especially the grunge and alternative rock music! I used to have a discman that I cherished so much but I was a girl who loves to see live bands playing. Funny how people change when you have priorities, I used to only worry about work, go out with friends, plan the weekend to go out and just spend what I had to whatever I wanted but now, I am more worried about what to make for dinner, updating bathroom faucet or kitchen sink, painting rooms, taking care of my family’s needs but it’s all worth it. There are things I missed doing but I have a wonderful life with a family of my own but still it would be great if I was able to see Nirvana in action. Anyway, this album Candlebox has awesome songs my favorite are Nonsense, You, Blossom,Cover Me and of curse Far Behind!

I am happy to learn that the weather is going to be warm from this day on and I am excited for the snow to melt completely! I know it won’t melt right away but I will give it 3 weeks of warm weather and there won’t be any more snow in my yard:) I am ready for a warmer weather and just move on forward to enjoying the days ahead cleaning the lawn and planting flowers which by the way is my long awaited goal! I want to plant flowers in the flower bed in front of my house. I also got this free cilantro seeds that I received and I want to try planting it. I do not have a green thumb but there’s no harm in trying right?

Aprons are essential protective barrier and it’s not only for homemakers but for everybody too! It is very important to use protective barrier such as aprons, gloves, mask and even coveralls when dealing not only in dirty but in corrosive environment. Use tyvek aprons when dealing not only with dirt, dust, moisture but also when dealing with chemicals, molds and even insulation. It’s very durable and you can choose from full length to knee length and it’s disposable too so you won’t worry about anything at all! Be safe and use protective barriers before starting any project that deals with dirt and chemicals.

I am very excited that the bento products that I purchased will be coming soon. I am very excited to have a fun and healthy lunch, not that I don’t eat healthy lunch but I am excited to try the whole new bento thing. I have been practicing with the technique about molding and decorating so I am ecstatic about it. I am also planning to invite my friend for dinner at my house next month for Thanksgiving and I really hope that I will have a custom blinds for my windows but we are going to change windows later this year so maybe we will get one .

Oh, here’s Aerosmith’s I don’t wanna miss a thing my song for the day.. I watched Armageddon again last night and the song is simply beautiful and it kept popping in my head all day today!

It’s Chilly

Oh it’s starting to feel like winter is kicking in. Well not that cold but I can feel it’s cold cold breeze even at 3 in the afternoon. I like sitting in the deck at night talking and spending time with family but lately I have been wrapping myself with a fleece wrap and these are the times when I wish for a enclosed deck with one of those warm jacuzzi tubs to soak in. That would be nice! Every winter I wish for it but when winter is over I forget it like I never thought of it. I need to dig into my closet and put the summer clothes away and start putting the fall and winter clothes up where I can get it right away when needed . The joy of having four season huh?

Paint a door

I wish I can paint my door this Sunday. My hubby and I agreed that we should paint our door red but he wants to wait and I don’t want to! He said there are more important things to do than painting and, I guess he is right. I love painting! I learned how to paint a bit because of my uncle whose a handyman. He was a certified electrician but he can build a house, furniture and can repair whatever. You name it he can do it but he is getting old and he’s getting sick many people believed that he might have a cancer but he never went to a doctor. He said that he never went and now it’s normal getting sick coz he’s old but many people really think he got cancer since he’s having pain under his rib cage but there was no Mesothelioma diagnosis by any doctor, just speculations by people around him. It’s sad that he don’t want to know but then again it’s his will not to go and he has his reason so why intrude right? Anyway, as I am saying I wish I’ll be painting my door red but I guess I can wait!

Sometimes it really is annoying when you are alone lying on your patio cushions trying to relax after one busy day but all you can think about is something else that is less relaxing! I just want to be able to relax with no worries and nothing to think about! I am trying to just think about something wonderful but nothing came in my mind . Oh by the way, I have to see someone next week and I do hope that it will go according to my wishes! As I am writing this I am loving the song from TLC “I miss you so Much” It’s been a long time since I heard it and I am glad I popped in the CD and reminisce the old times!

P.S I miss TLC
