They also said that the officials in the school didn’t pay attention to their pleas even before the news went Nationwide. It’s really sad that until now race has a big role in America. We even have a new black president and yet the fighting about race is still ongoing. My friend was looking for philadelphia job but was very hesitant to move there because she is afraid that her kids might experience this horrible situation. I don’t know when will this race thing is going to be over but I do hope that we adults will teach the kids that racism is bad and it will only teach us hate in every different colors we see. We should teach our kids that whatever color you have on your skin we are the same we have rights, feelings and most of all we are human beings we should respect each other and appreciate the person not the skin color!

Businesses are opening , traffic is running and clean-up crews are busy for reopening classes again! Now with these good news wouldn’t you want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with some Cerveza, Guacamole and Tequila? heck I would be celebrating it even if it’s not may 5th anymore!

Anyway, the swine flu really cost Mexico a lot of businesses, not only that it killed numbers of people from different ages. I just hope that this epidemic will be close and let’s go back to partying! Viva las Mexico!

Now not only the police department are asking twitters to help catch predators but also the Irish Catholic Church are asking for faithful to send prayer to love ones through emails, text or twitter! I have to admit these networking tools like twitter does help and should have been founded and used long time ago! I would like it more if people are using texts messages and twitter for Amber Alert programs. Technology is really getting better, it is good for sending inspirational messages, prayers and we should use it to help spread the world in catching predators!

An Ohio man who was scheduled to die by lethal injection was spared by the States Governor. The State has executed 29 inmates since 1999 and the governor had spared 3 life already but this is the first time that he spared a defendant who acknowledged committing the murder, and agreed to an alternative sentence of less than life without the possibility of parole.

He was charged for killing his mother back in 1991. He is supposed to be injected with lethal injection on March 3 but his entire family opposed to the decision saying :

that they had suffered enough and that to put him on death would make it worse.

In my opinion, I rather be sentenced to death row and get it over with rather than spending my whole life in jail, full or guilt, remorse and you know how much forgiveness you ask, you will never turn back time to make the wrong right! There’s no Butterfly Effect in real life!

I know you have heard about this ridiculous news about parents who drop their kids at Omaha safe-haven. This is supposed to be for those parent who can’t take care of their kids so they can drop their infants to participating firehouse, hospitals and churches guilt -free. How can you be guilt-free dropping your kids? Well, anyway it’s supposed to be for the people like that.

The government in Nebraska wasn’t clear about the age limit so apparently a lot of tired parents dropped their kids ages 0-as old as 17 years old. These parents are so tired raising their kids so they just give them away, others claimed that they can no longer tolerate their kids attitude. Well hello, whose fault is that? parents are supposed to disciplined their kids . Which is also my complaint about this country. Many parents are afraid to discipline their kids because teachers and other “loving” people teaches kids to report their parents if they hit them! Be specific!!! Come on, spanking is never an abused unless you beat the crap out of those kids then that’s abuse! Kids are brat they will run all over you if you don’t show them what’s appropriate or not. Spank them but not beat the hell out of them. Time outs are crap. IT NEVER WORKED! The kids will do bad deeds knowing that only time outs can be their punishment. Spank them, tell them. Kids are not stupid they know when to behave if you teach them , they also know who to run over, whose parent is a push-over and whose parents who tolerate their kids bad attitude.

Now go back to safe-haven, the legislatures have a vote for limiting to 30-day old age limit, however there are still legislatures who still consider up to 15 yrs.old. Well, what’s the purpose of their meeting? It’s still the same to me.. 15 & 17 What’s different? 2 yrs. more older wow! Still the parents are going to drop their 15 yrs. old to safe-haven like hotcakes. You will hear that many parents from different states drop their kids to Nebraska because of this stupid law.

Don’t get all hyped about this. I am up for accepting infants and toddlers. I know that there are under-age Mothers who cannot take care of their kids financially or cannot give their babies a good life. I understand those people, I understand those Mothers. I know how hard it is to raise a kid by yourself without a lot of money and help ,but I am talking about the parents of 15 yrs. 17 years old. come on … 1 more year their kids will be 18 and can live on their own why do they have to kick them out so fast that they can’t even wait until they reach 18?

Safe-haven is a good idea for those under-aged mothers, mothers who were pregnant by rape, single poor mothers who has no other choice but to give up their kids not because they want to get of them but those who just can’t support their babies. But don’t just give up your teen-age kids because you are tired of them. Yes life is not easy and it is expensive to live but there’s help available and giving away kids is never an option!

I know it’s unlikely to happen but hey, it might happen. People were complaining when it went up and we also remember how to pray when everything goes up and look! it happen the gas prices that we have been praying for went down! Yey! The power of hoping eh?

I am one of those greedy people who went ahead and got me a full tank when I saw the sign. it was heaven for a moment to me to see that it actually went down? Could it be the Power of Obama being a new President-elect? Come on now you should know I am kidding. But it’s kind of a good start isn’t it? gas prices went down, people uniting .. I just hope that the food prices will go down as well.

I don’t know if you are paying attention when you go grocery shopping or when you go out and get yourself a whooper but the prices of food went up! it’s more expensive than gas and it’s kind of ridiculous! I don’t mind paying for the food we need to fix for dinner but I don’t want to pay $7 on a big burger that only gives me a slight satisfaction and a whooping cholesterol!

Democrat Senator Barack Obama won the Presidential election by a landslide against Republican John McCain. Millions of people were tuning on TV, radio and even in Election headquarters to find out the outcome of the biggest election ever. Many were stunned and cried for joy for the people of the United States proved that color difference is no longer a barrier in this great nation.

I watched that night when Senator McCain gave his very gracious speech and congratulate the new President-Elect and I was very impressed with his graciousness and class in his greeting and his speech that he will continue to be a servant for his country and will support his new President. I also watched the speech given by President-Elect Barack Obama. Both men gave the best speech in both sides.

I am very lucky to witness the History that probably all people in the world will never forget. I am somewhat proud for many people who choose to vote for the person of their choice without judging by their appearances.

The White House will have a new first family and you can tell that they have so much love with each other. I am very eager to wait what will the next President’s new move and how he will handle different issues that has been going on in our country.
